I was born and raised in the foothills of Northeast Tennessee. I became interested in Massage Therapy at an early age. Family gatherings frequently resulted in lines of relatives exchanging shoulder rubs. I remember lazy afternoons on the couch with my dad exchanging foot rubs. As a child, a story and a back-rub were essential in the “tucking-in” process.
I met a lovely young lady in 2005, we got married in 2012.
In 2018, I started to get serious about Massage Therapy. In Spring 2019, I quit my job as a Geek Squad Home Theater Installation Agent and enrolled in the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga (Graduation: September 25th, 2019).
I live in Etowah, NC with my wife, two cats, two dogs, and three chickens.
Massage Therapy - I am a trained and [almost] licensed professional that practices the manual, hands-on manipulation of soft body tissues to enhance one’s well being. Massage is therapeutic and professional draping is always practiced. I am primarily trained in Swedish massage which is the most popular modality in the USA. The primary focus of Swedish massage is relaxation. Techniques include: long, slow strokes, kneading, rhythmic tapping, vibration, and friction. Pressure is easily adjusted to suit your needs. Massage is clinically proven to improve one’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Other modalities are integrated as needed.
